Description
The original to this print was drawn by hand using the stippling technique, sometimes also referred to as pointilism, a technique where the entire motif is made up out of small, distinct dots that together build up the image as whole. In this case, more than 100.000 of them. A time consuming technique indeed to mimic old steel- or wood-carving images from the 1800s.
Printed on premium quality, FSC®, Eco-Label EU and PEFC certified, i.e. earth-friendly and carbon neutral paper using the concept of Japanese Hybrid printing Technique. A combination of using both analog och digital printing techniques to ensure the highest possible quality in terms of colors, density and depth. Made to last.
